Drive thru tacos!

I love hitting up the Shack on a weekend when the weather is good and I feel like going for a day trip. It's the perfect way to start a trip to some of my favorite spots like Krause Springs, Pale Face, Greele and Pedernales.

Although I didn't head west during this trip to the Shack, I still made it to a great outdoor spot. I enjoyed my potato/egg and bacon/egg tacos on my way to Town Lake. It was the first good weather day of 2009 and I took Dudley and Bookey for their first trip to the lake.

The lake was brimming with families and folks who were working on their fitness for the new year.
